Champions League draw
Britain and Ireland's less glamorous European hopefuls Barry Town, Portadown and Shelbourne discovered their opponents on Friday for the first qualifying round of the Champions League.

The draw from Geneva, Switzerland, paired League of Wales champions Barry Town with Latvian side Skonto Riga.

Northern Ireland champions Portadown were drawn against Belarusian champions Belshina Bobruisk, while Irish champions Shelbourne will play Maltese side Hibernians.

The winners of the second round will join the 18 clubs who have qualified directly for the third qualifying round.

Third round winners will be entered into the draw for the Champions League first group stage on 29 August.
