Zaki's Portuguese adventure
Zaki was Morocco's goalkeeper at the Mexico '86 World Cup
Zaki (middle) won his first two games in charge

Badou Zaki goes to Portugal to look at possible candidates for the Atlas Lions.

According to the newspaper 'Le Matin,' Zaki, the former African Footballer of the Year, will be specifically looking at 20-year-old striker Nabil Baha.

Baha is with second division Naval. The coach will also take a look at Gil Vicente's Ali El Omari.

The only other Moroccan currently playing in Portugal is the veteran Hassan Nader.

His international career received a brief resurgence when Portuguese coach Humberto Coelho was in charge.

Zaki took over from Coelho in mid-year and has been in charge for four matches.

The ex-goalkeeper was confirmed as national coach two weeks ago, following a meeting with the leadership of the Moroccan Football Federation.

Morocco travel to Switzerland for a friendly on 19 February and play Sierra Leone in Freetown on 29 March.

Morocco head the standings in their 2004 Nations Cup qualifying group seven after two wins in their opening two matches.
