The Newcastle United player suffered from flight problems on attempting to leave England, according to his club. The problems meant he was unable to join the DR Congo squad and instead reported for training as usual with the Premiership club on Friday morning. When he plays for the Simbas, LuaLua forms one half of one of Africa's deadliest strike partnerships, alongside Monaco's Shabani Nonda. The 21-year-old is currently on a hot streak of form, with three goals in five matches since the start of the season. | |
