| Partizan wait for West ![]() West last played for Kaiserslautern in Germany Yugoslavian club Partizan Belgrade have told BBC Sport Online that a deal can still be done with Nigerian defender Taribo West. On Monday, the club said he must sign a deal by Tuesday or they would no longer pursue their interest in him. Zecevic said Partizan coach Lothar Matthaus believes the form of West could help the club win the Yugoslavian league and earn it a Uefa Champions League place. West, who has played for Auxerre, Inter Milan, AC Milan, Derby County and Kaiserslautern, has been without a club since April 2002. | Internet links: The BBC is not responsible for the content of external internet sites Top Africans abroad stories now: Links to more Africans abroad stories are at the foot of the page. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
