| |  Monday, 16 December, 2002, 17:34 GMT Okoronkwo gets Newcastle trial  Okoronkwo (right) partners Joseph Yobo in Nigeria's defence Nigeria defender Isaac Okoronkwo has begun trials with English Premiership club Newcastle United. Okoronkwo, who partners Everton centre-back Jospeh Yobo at international level, is currently on the books of Ukraine side Shakhtar Donetsk. If Okoronkwo impresses, he is exprected to cost Newcastle between �2m and �3m. Newcastle manager Bobby Robson is keen to see an improvement in the defensive capabilities of his team - although they are eighth in the Premiership, only the bottom five sides have conceded more goals.
