South Africa coach Pitso Mosimane has named three youngsters in his squad to face Niger in a Nations Cup qualifier.

They are Kermit Erasmus, Daylon Claasen and Keegan Ritchie.

Experienced internationals Steven Pienaar and Aaron Mokoena have also been called up for next month's clash.

Mosimane opted for a blend of youth and experience in his 25-man squad to face the West Africans in the first qualifying match for the 2012 finals.

Defender Bongani Khumalo also returns after missing Mosimane's first match in charge - the 1-0 friendly win over Ghana earlier this month - with injury.

South Africa faces Niger at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit on 4 September in Mosimane's first competitive international since taking over from World Cup coach Carlos Alberto Parreira.
