Zambia comprehensively thrashed Djibouti 6-0 on Friday to finish top of Group B of the Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup.
A brace each from Charles Siyingwa, Kennedy Chola and Felix Sunzu secured victory for the Chipolopolo in Nairobi.
The victory means Zambia, who playing in the tournament as guests, topped the table with maximum nine points.
Zambia coach Hevre Renard was impressed with the performance and is confident it will spur them on in the quarter finals.
"We went into this match already qualified for the quarters but the boys are determined to continue winning matches," Renard said.
"I made five changes to give chance to as many players as possible to prove themselves ahead of the African Cup of Nations finals in Angola," he added.
Meanwhile, Tanzania reached the quarter final of the tournament after their 1-0 win over Burundi in the other Group C game on Friday.
Mrisho Ngasha connected Juma Mgosi's cross in the first half to help seal the victory.
Tanzania finished second on the table with six points.
