Dede Ayew may not play the final against Brazil through injury
The captain of Ghana's Black Satellites Dede Ayew will start in Friday's Under 20 World Cup final against Brazil in Cairo.
The player picked up an ankle injury during Ghana's semi-final against Hungary.
Coach Sellas Tetteh had told the BBC he only had a "50/50" chance of making the final.
Ayew was unable to take a full part in training with the team on Wednesday instead he underwent some light exercises on his own.
The 19-year-old's attacking flair has brought huge benefits for Ghana during this tournament, and Ghana's strike pairing of Ransford Osei and Dominic Adiyiah would have badly missed his service.
Ayew passion for the team is obvious - he seemed furious about being substituted with 15 minutes to go in Ghana's high octane 3-2 win over Hungary in the semi-final.
