George Mandjeck of Kaiserslautern has been called up to play for Cameroon
Midfielder George Mandjeck has been given a first call-up to the Cameroon squad for Saturday's World Cup qualifier against Togo.
Coach Paul Le Guen has brought in the Kaiserslautern youngster to replace Aurelin Chedjou.
Cameroon currently top Group A a point ahead of Gabon.
Cameroon will qualify for South Africa 2010 if they defeat Togo in Yaounde, and Gabon lose at home against bottom placed Morocco.
George Mandjeck played for Cameroon's under-23 side at the Olympics in Beijing last year.
He came on as a substitute in their first group game against South Korea, where he scored a goal to earn Cameroon a 1-1 draw.
He made his second appearance in the team's third group game, a goalless draw against Italy, where he was sent off for kicking Antonio Nocerino in the ankle.
