Nigeria international defender Rafiu Afolabi has ended the speculation about his club future by signing for Austrian champions Salzburg.
The 29-year-old moves to Salzburg on a free transfer, having signed a two-year contract.
Afolabi has been without a club since his contract ended at French side Sochaux in June.
He was linked with several clubs in Europe before sealing the deal with Salzburg that expires in August 2011.
Afolabi, who has won 20 caps, has already played in Austria, spending two seasons with Austria Vienna from 2003-2005.
