Khaleej qualify for the second round of the Confederation Cup
Libyan club Khaleej reached the second round of the Confederation Cup after brushing aside Prisons of Tanzania 4-0 in a first round, second leg tie on Saturday.
Khaleej, based in the central Libyan city of Sirt, won the home game to qualify on a 6-0 aggregate.
AS Vacoas of Mauritius also sealed their place in the second round thanks to a 1-0 win over AS Adema of Madagascar.
A 23rd minute strike by Ben Abdallah in Curepipe was enough to give the home side 2-1 aggregate win after the first leg ended 1-1 leg two weeks ago.
Zambia side Red Arrows also clinched their second round place following the 1-0 away win over Mundu FC of Zanzibar.
The visitors secured their victory in the fifth minute when striker Chiwanki Liyainga's found the net from the edge of the box.
Red Arrows won the first leg 5-0 and Saturday's win in Dar-es-Salam helped them to advance on a 6-0 aggregate.
Elsewhere, Tourbillon Club of Congo was held 1-1 by visiting Bukavu Dawa of DR Congo, but the former went through on the away goals rule as they tied 4-4 on aggregate.
