Ahly win record fourth Super Cup

Ahly add their record fourth Super Cup to a sixth Champions League victory
Egypt's Al Ahly have beaten Tunisia's CS Sfaxien 2-1 to take the African Super Cup for a record fourth time.

Angolan striker Flavio opened the scoring for Ahly just a minute after the half-time break with a fine goal, before Ivorian striker Kouassi Blaise equalised for Sfaxien.

Flavio then struck again in the 70th minute to make it 2-1, and claim another trophy for the African champions.

Ahly's tally of Super Cup triumphs now surpasses their great Egyptian rivals Zamalek, who have won it three times.

The annual one-off game - which pitted the African Champions League winners against the Confederation Cup holders - was a tense and physical affair and several yellow cards were handed out.

Ahly made their home advantage of the Cairo International Stadium pay and even managed victory without their star player and BBC African Footballer of the Year Mohamed Aboutrika, who missed the match through injury.

Sfaxien struggled to overcome the odds, as the away team had not won the trophy since 1998 when Etoile du Sahel of Tunisia beat Morocco's Raja Casablanca on penalties.
