The Mahamasina stadium was due to host Sunday's match
After days of anti-government rioting in Madagascar, the Confederation of African Football (Caf) has cancelled a Champions League match that was due to take place in the capital Antananarivo.
Madagascan champions Academie Ny Antsika were drawn to play US Stade Tamponnaise of Reunion on Sunday in the first leg of a first round game.
However, the Malagasy FA has informed the African governing body that it was impossible to ensure the security of the players, officials and fans inside and outside the Mahamasina stadium.
The referees, who are from Mauritius, have also been told not to make the trip to Antananarivo.
The tie will now be decided in only one game, in Reunion on 14 or 15 February.
AS Adema are the other team from Madagascar in action this weekend.
Their game against Association Sportive Vacoas Phoenix in the Confederation Cup is unaffected as it will be played in Mauritius.
