Emerse Fae moves after just one season in England

Ivory Coast midfielder Emerse Fae has joined French club Nice from English Championship side Reading.

The 24-year-old joins the Ligue 1 outfit on a season-long loan after struggling to settle in England.

Fae started just eight league games under coach Steve Coppell since his �2.5m arrival from Nantes last year.

He refused to take part in a reserve team fixture late last season and launched a verbal attack on Coppell after being fined two weeks' wages.

The Ivorian is under contract for a further two seasons, but is aiming to get his career back on track with his return to France.

Reading were relegated from the English top flight last term.
