Egypt's Al Ahly and Zamalek will clash in the Champions League
Deadly Egyptian rivals Al Ahly and Zamalek have been drawn together in the group phase of the African Champions League.
The draw was made in Yaounde, Cameroon, on Saturday.
Al Ahly and Zamalek have both won Africa's premier club tournament five times and their two meetings in Group A should provide plenty of fireworks.
Asec Mimosas of the Ivory Coast, appearing in the group stage for a record ninth time, are also in Group A along with Dynamos of Zimbabwe.
Dynamos eliminated holders Etoile du Sahel of Tunisia in one of the biggest shocks in the history of the competition.
Asec have missed out on the league phase just three times since the new format was introduced in 1997.
Last year's semi-finalists Al Hilal of Sudan are in Group B along with Champions League group phase virgins Coton Sport of Cameroon.
TP Mazembe of the DR Congo and Nigeria's Enyimba - winners in 2003 and 2004 - complete the line-up in Group B.
The draw for the ties that will decide who qualifies for the group stages of the Confederation Cup was also made in Yaounde on Saturday.
The pick of the games sees Champions League winners Etoile du Sahel of Tunisia taking on their local rival Esperance for a place in the group stages.
