The Confederation Cup currently resides in Morocco with FUS Rabat
The Confederation Cup is the second-tier knock-out competition for clubs from across the African continent.
The countries who have fared best in continental competition over the previous five years can enter a cup winner and third-placed side from their national league into the event.
The losers from the final 16 of the Champions League enter the Confederation Cup at a later time to decide which eight teams will go forward to the group stages.
Unlike the Champions League, there are no semi-finals in the Confederation Cup - instead the group winners meet in a two-legged final.
The current champions are FUS Rabat of Morocco, who beat Tunisia's CS Sfaxien 3-2 in the 2010 final.
