Marques is impressed by Angola's team spirit and determination |
Angola defender Rui Marques is confident his team will qualify for the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations after their defeat of Senegal. Angola came from 1-0 down to win 3-1 and now play Tunisia on Thursday in Tamale, with both teams on six points.
And Marques said: "I believe we have a great chance of going through especially if we can repeat how well we have worked together so far."
A draw between Angola and Tunisia will see both teams qualify.

And Marques feels the character show by his team in defeating the Ternaga Lions will stand his team in good stead.
"Senegal scored before us and we had to chase the game, but despite this and their attempt to keep the ball and slow down the game we worked hard and managed to score three goals," he added.
Senegal coach Henri Kasperczak has commended the tactical changes made by Angola coach Luis Goncalves that led to the Teranga Lions' defeat.
"We played to our strengths in the first half and did what we had to do well," said Kasperczak.
"But we didn't consolidate our lead because the change of tactics (from Angola) went against us."
Senegal captain El-Hadji Diouf was equally disappointed with the outcome of the match.
"The whole team just lost concentration," the Bolton Wanderers striker said.
"Unfortunately it is the kind of thing that can happen to any team at any time, today it happened to us."
The result leaves Senegal needing at least a win in their final match against South Africa in Kumasi on Thursday to progress while Angola need only a point to go through.
