Black Stars are preparing for next year's African Cup of Nations

Ghana coach Claude Le Roy has handed debut call-ups to Etoile du Sahel strikers Moussa Narry and Sadat Bukari.

The duo, who won the Champions League with the Tunisian side last Friday, were named in a 26-man squad for a four-nation tournament in the next week.

Four other players from the country's Olympic team were also handed maiden calls to the Black Stars for the competition which kicks off in Accra on Saturday.

Striker Nafiu Iddrisu of Ivorian side Asec Mimosas as well home-based players Daniel Addo, Addoquaye Addo and Kwadwo Asamoah were named in the squad.

Russian-based striker Baffour Gyan defender Kofi Amponsah of Greek side Apollon Kalamarias return to the squad after a two-year absence.

"We are still in the process of looking at some of the players before we make a decision on the team for the Nations Cup," Le Roy said.

"We want to give a chance to the good players of Ghana and for them to show what they can do in the jersey of the Black Stars.

"Most of these players are young so we are also looking into the future too as well."

The tournament kicks off on Saturday when Ghana play Togo with UAE facing Benin the following day.

The winners of the two matches will progress to the final while the losers vie for third place.
