Senegal will play against Mali and Morocco next week |
Senegal coach Henri Kasperczak has named a 26-man squad for the forthcoming friendlies against Mali and Morocco.
The Teranga Lions face Mali on Saturday 17 November in Paris, which is where they take on Morocco four days later.
El Hadji Diouf has been included in the squad despite injury, although Babacar Gueye misses out for the same reason.
Interestingly, the Polish coach has named four goalkeepers in his squad as he looks for back-up for regular stopper Tony Sylva.
Cheikh Tidiane Ndiaye, who plays for lower league French side Creteil, appears to be the number two keeper, while USA-based Bouna Koundoul and Issa Ndoye, who plays in Iran, are seemingly fighting for the third spot.
Kasperczak is clearly unhappy with the goalkeeping situation since he has now called up seven different goalkeepers since taking charge of Senegal in May 2006.
The Pole has also named 11 defenders in his squad as he tries to finalise preparations for January's Nations Cup finals in Ghana.
The Senegalese will face Angola, South Africa and Tunisia in Group D in Tamale.
