Victor the great
Nigeria's Victor Anichebe
Super Eagle Anichebe has pleased his manager David Moyes
English Premier League side Everton have been singing the praises of a young Nigerian striker after he helped the side to a late 2-0 Uefa Cup victory against German team Nuremberg.

It is just the latest acknowledgement of Victor Anichebe's development with the Liverpool-based side this season.

Manager David Moyes is confident there is still a lot more to come from the gifted goal-getter.

"Victor has been great for us and he really has a chance if he wants to work hard and keep improving," Moyes said.

"When he comes off the bench he is very good and people find it hard to cope with his strength.

"He is very strong at the age of 19, he is one of the boys who does not need to do any strength training!"

Club captain Phil Neville echoed Moyes' sentiments, claiming there was no stopping Anichebe.

"He can catch the defence by surprise because he is a real special talent," Neville said.

"He has been an absolute monster. You feed the ball into him in the box and he rolls defenders in.

"Because he is young the foreign players and teams dont know much about him."
