Toure could be back from injury for Barcelona this weekend

Barcelona midfielder Yaya Toure could be back in action against Almeria on Sunday, the Ivory Coast international told his club's television channel.

Toure tore a muscle in his left thigh in Barcelona's 4-1 La Liga win over Levante on 29 September.

"I would be fine to play against Almeria," Toure said.

"I feel good and I am very keen to start playing again as soon as possible although I have to get the all-clear from the doctors."

Up until his injury, the 24-year-old Toure had been ever-present in Frank Rijkaard's team following a US$12 million transfer from Monaco in the summer.

Barcelona currently lie fourth in the Spanish first division following their 3-1 defeat by Villarreal last Saturday, their first defeat of the season.
