Ahly celebrate winning 2006 CAF Champions League
Ahly will face Etoile du Sahel at the Military Academy Stadium

It has been confirmed that Ahly will play the second leg of the African Champions League final at the Military Academy Stadium in Cairo on 9 November.

The defending champions were due to face Tunisia's Etoile du Sahel at the Cairo International Stadium, but the second leg has now been moved because the 74,000-seater venue had already been booked to host the Pan Arab Games opener.

Ahly officials are concerned that the Military Academy Stadium has a capacity of just 37,000.

"It is quite a dilemma as at least 100,000 fans are eager to buy tickets for this match which will put us under tremendous pressure," Ahly's spokesman Meharam El Ragheb said.

The first leg will be played at Etoile's home ground in Sousse on 27 October.

Nevertheless, the Egyptians have good memories of the Military Academy Stadium.

It was where Ahly crushed Etoile du Sahel 3-0 in the 2005 Champions League final after a goalless first leg.
