1725GMT: FULL-TIME: Togo 0-2 Mali An injury time goal from Mamadou Diallo seals the win for Mali and sends the Eagles through to the Nations Cup finals, but it is heatbreak for Togolese fans and fans in Uganda as both teams miss out on a place at Ghana 2008.

1722GMT: FULL-TIME: Sierra Leone 0-2 Benin: Two goals from Oumar Tchomogo in either half means that Benin have got the points they need to qualify for the Ghana 2008.

1712GMT: Benin are still in the lead in Freetown and are on the verge of qualifying for the Nations Cup finals in Ghana.

1710GMT: Just five minutes to go in Lome and Mali are holding on to their lead and their place at the African Cup of Nations finals in Ghana.

1701GMT: Togo are looking for an equaliser against Mali - but it is still an evenly balanced game in Lome,

1700GMT: Benin are beginning to dominate the game in Freetown and pressing to increase their lead and clinch their place at the Nations Cup finals in Ghana in January.

1657GMT: The Togolese crowd has gone very quiet with Mali leading 1-0.

1650: GOAL! Sierra Leone 0-2 Benin: A second goal for the Squirrels and a second one for Oumar Tchomogo who pounces on a poor back pass from a Sierra Leone defender.

1646GMT: In Lome it's a more balanced game but visitors Mali are still leading 1-0.

1645GMT: Sierra Leone continue to squander chances, frustrating not only the Leone Stars fans but also fans in Uganda.

1635GMT: The second half is also underway in Lome between hosts Togo and Mali.

1630GMT: The second half in Freetown is underway and Benin have started the better against Sierra Leone.

1620GMT: HALF-TIME: Togo 0-1 Mali: Striker Freddi Kanoute has scored the only goal of the game so far Mali, he scores thanks to a cross from Bassala Toure.

1615GMT: HALF-TIME: Sierra Leone 0-1 Benin: The Squirrels are leading but it is Sierra Leone who are dominating and their strikers are lacking the finishing touch.

1605GMT: Sierra Leone continue to dominate the game in Freetown but striker Julius Woobay and Foday Ishmael Camara are being wasteful in front of the Benin goal.

1550GMT: Twenty minutes gone in Lome in the game between Togo and Mali and its still goalless.

1545GMT: Sierra Leone are determined to make a game of this and Oumara Bangoura goes close as a poor clearance from the Benin goalkeeper falls to him and the strikers shot goes just wide.

1540GMT: GOAL! Sierra Leone 0-1 Benin: Benin striker Oumar Tchomogo sees his shot deflected into the goal to give them a lead that could see them qualify for Ghana 2008.

1537GMT: Sierra Leone are dominating the opening exchanges and are unlucky not to open the scoring.

1530GMT: Benin kick off their must win game against Sierra Leone.

1525GMT: It is not a full house in Freetown to see Sierra Leone against Benin, just 5,000 in a stadium with a capacity of more than 30,000.


If Togo or Mali win they qualify as group winners.

If Benin win, they qualify, either as group winners if Togo and Mali draw, otherwise as best runners-up.

If Benin fail to win and Togo against Mali ends in a draw, Mali qualify as group winners on head-to-head with Togo.

Uganda qualify as best runners-up if Benin fail to win or even if the Squirrels do win, the Cranes will still qualify if Togo and Mali draw.
