Ghana meet Spain in the semi-finals on Wednesday |
Ghana cruised past Peru with a 2-0 win in the quarter-finals of the under-17 World Cup in South Korea on Saturday.
Sadick Adams put the Black Starlets ahead in first-half stoppage-time, and Ransford Osei scored the second, eight minutes after the interval.
The Ghanaians dominated the match, with 56% of the possession, and 12 shots on target to Peru's one.
Osei set up the first goal, passing to Adams, whose shot was initially saved, but the ball rebounded to Adams and he netted his third of the tournament.
Osei's goal also came from a rebound, when an overhead kick by Isaac Donkor hit the post.
It made Osei joint-leading scorer of the competition, with five goals, the same as Nigeria's Macauley Chrisantus.
Ghana will have a more challenging semi-final, against Spain on Wednesday.
Nigeria play Argentina on Sunday in a quarter-final match.
