Ghana reached the second round of the under-17 World Cup in South Korea after beating Colombia 2-1 in Group F on Sunday.
An Ishmael Yartey strike six minutes from time secured victory for the Black Starlets and second place in the group.
The West Africans will face Brazil in the next round on Wednesday while Colombia, who finished third, take on African champions Nigeria on Thursday.
Ghana dominated the early exchanges and Ransford Osei put Ghana in front in the 32nd minute.
The South Americans wanted to finish as high up Group F as possible, and equalised in the 60th minute through Cristian Nazarith.
But Ghana secured the deserved three points and a place in the knock-out round when Yartey scored the winner.
Meanwhile, Tunisia beat Tajikistan 1-0 to maintain their perfect record at the under-17 World Cup.
The Carthage Eaglets won the thanks to a Youssef Msakni strike after 82 minutes at the Suwon Sports Complex.
Despite the defeat, their Tajikistan also qualified for the second round of the competition.
Tajikistan appeared set to make the breakthrough after being awarded a penalty, only for captain Samad Shohzukhurov to waste the resulting spot kick.
From that point on the teams' offensive fervour gave way to a more cautious approach until Msakni's intervention.
The Carthage Eaglets cranked up the pressure on the Tajikistan goal late on and their persistence was rewarded when Msakni latched onto a corner kick to fire home a spectacular winner.
Tunisia will play France in the next round on Thursday.
