DRC maintain lead in Group 10
DR Congo
DR Congo are still on top of Group 10 despite their 1-1 draw with Namibia

Namibia drew 1-1 with DR Congo in Windhoek on Saturday to leave Group 10 delicately poised in qualifying for the 2008 African Cup of Nations.

The visitors opened the scoring in the 27th minute after Zola Matumona took advantage for a defensive slip-up.

Michael Pienaar brought the home side level with a striker five minutes before break

The result means DR Congo maintain leadership of the group with eight points while Libya move to second place thanks to their 3-1 win over Ethiopia on Sunday.

The home side dominated the early exchanges but a swift counter attack saw Kosays giving the visitors the lead after eight minutes.

But the home side responded instantly with striker Ahmed el-Zawy drawing Libya level in the 10th minute.

Salem al-Rawwani put the home side in the lead in the 23rd minute before el-Zawy sealed the victory four minutes after the interval

Namibia are third also with seven points.

The 12 group winners and the best three runners-up from the four-team pools secure places at the finals from 20 January to 10 February 2008.

Hosts Ghana qualify automatically.
