Tunisia lead Group Four with 13 points

Tunisia and Sudan booked their places at next year's African Cup of Nations following Saturday's wins in the qualifiers.

The Carthage Eagles maintained their lead in the group with 13 points after a 2-0 win over Mauritius.

They secure their place at the Nations Cup as one of the top runners-up even if they lose their final game away to Sudan, who also sealed a tournament spot.

Sudan beat Seychelles 2-0 to take them to 12 points which is enough to guarantee them a place as one of the second best placed teams.

It will be the Nile Crocodiles' first ever Nations Cup appearance since 1976.

But the Carthage Eagles were the first to qualify from the group as Roger Lemerre's team dominated the match in Rades.

They had to wait almost until half time before Issam Jomaa curled a long range shot just inside the Mauritian keeper's post to open the scoring.

Karim Nafti made it 2-0 soon just after the interval.

Goals from Kamal Haytham and Faisal Agab were enough to give Sudan victory over Seychelles.

Haytham got the first after just 10 minutes of play against the islanders.

And his domestic club-mate, attacking midfielder Faisal Agab, rifled home just before half time to kill the game off.
