Okocha's faith in Super Eagles
Jay-Jay Okocha
Jay-Jay Okocha has no plans to come out of international retirement
Nigerian legend Jay-Jay Okocha says he has no plans to come out of retirement to help his national team.

The 34-year-old insists the current Super Eagles' squad are more than able of reaching the 2008 African Cup of Nations finals without him.

"Nigeria can reach Ghana without me because we have a great crop of young players," Okocha said.

The creative midfielder confirmed he is not considering a return to international football in the future.

Nigeria lost their last qualifier to 2-1 to Uganda but still lead qualifying Group Three and are due to play away against Niger on 12 June.

"The biggest risk (in the qualifying campaign) is the game in Niamey but we can win there," Okocha added.

The former Bolton Wanderers player who currently plays in the Qatar league for Qatar SC also revealed he has received an official offer to move to Australia next season.

"I am in talks with Australian club FC Sydney and I might moving there soon.

"I have no problem with moving to Australia, I have played in Germany, France, Turkey and England before and have shown that I can adopt quickly to new environments.

"But, I prefer to wait until I talk to Qatar SC officials as I am enjoying my life here and I would really like to extend my contract if they will give me a new offer," Okocha said.

Qatar SC who won the domestic league in 2003 just survived relegation this year and have so not shown any interest in renewing the Nigerian's contract.
