Cameroon made it four wins out of four in Group Five of the 2008 African Cup of Nations qualifiers with a 2-1 win in Liberia on Sunday. Stephane Mbia, who plays his club football with Rennes in France, put the Indomitable Lions a goal up after just 12 minutes.
Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o then fired in the second for Cameroon before Stephen Mennoh pulled one back for Liberia in the closing stages of the match.
In the group's other game on Saturday Rwanda got their first points of the campaign with a 2-0 win over the visiting Equatorial Guinea.
Both of Rwanda's goals were scored by Harouna Niyonzima in the second half of the game in Kigali.
Rwanda's next game is a trip to Cameroon in two weeks time while the same weekend Equatorial Guinea are in Liberia.
