Angola stay top of Group Six
Angola's Maurito
Maurito score the equaliser for Angola against Eritrea
Angola remain in control of Group Six of the 2008 African Cup of Nations despite being held to a surprising 1-1 draw by Eritrea in Asmara on Saturday.

In the other group game on Sunday Kenya played out a 0-0 draw in Swaziland.

Eritrea opened the scoring against Angola in the 17th minute with a goal from Elias Ali Abubeker.

Substitute Maurito grabbed the equalizer for the Palancas Negras in the 61st minute.

The last time the two sides met in March Angola thrashed Eritrea 6-1 in Luanda.

The results mean that Eritrea stay in second place in the group with five points from their four games while Angola remain at the top of the table with 10 points.

Kenya are in third place with 4 points and Swaziland stay bottom with just two points and they are out of contention for the Nations Cup finals in Ghana next year.

Next up for Angola is a home game against Swaziland in two weeks time while Eritrea host Kenya.
