Tarek El Taib scored Libya's second |
Libya lifted themselves off the bottom of Group Ten of Nations Cup qualifying when beating Namibia 2-1 in Tripoli on Sunday.
The Libyans' first win of the campaign took them second, level on points with DR Congo whose clash with Ethiopia was postponed because of the recent fighting in Kinshasa.
Salem El Rawany gave the hosts the perfect start when he scored after 12 minutes, and Tarek El Taib grabbed the second shortly after the hour mark.
Namibia and Ethiopia both have three points, although the Ethiopians have played one game less.
