West Bromwich Albion are keen to keep hold of Diomansy Kamara

Kamara has been linked with a move to Premiership side Middlesbrough.

Mowbray said: "I have always said everybody has a price and if someone wants to offer ridiculous money for any of our players it will be considered.

"He's desperate to win games for us. You can see his joy when we win. I've no fears about him being distracted."

Mowbray has made it clear he wants Kamara, who has more than three years left of his contract, to play a leading role if Albion regain their top-flight status.

"I'd be surprised if Middlesbrough weren't interested," Mowbray said ahead of West Brom's FA Cup replay against Boro on Tuesday.

"I am delighted when people are connected to our footballers because it shows they are doing something right.

"But we have been down this road many times. We had the same issues in the summer - and Kamara is still here scoring wonderful goals for us.

"I anticipate that being the case next year - in the Premier League hopefully."

Mowbray said that he hopes any offers for Kamara will be rejected.

"But I would suggest, depending on how we are, hopefully the offer will be turned down," he added.
