We are family - Diouf
El-Hadji Diouf
Diouf has scored nine goals in 54 appearances this season

El-Hadji Diouf claims that Bolton has become a special part of his young life.

The Senegal striker, 25, aims to help the English Premiership club to continue their push towards Europe.

He has shown consistently good form this season after scoring nine goals in 54 appearances.

Diouf insists he is comfortable with his career path.

"This is more than a football club. This is a family, " he said.

"Everyone is working hard. We want to surprise people.

"When I first said I was coming here, people laughed. Now they know why I came.

"Everyone here recognises my talent. I love people booing me, talking about me.

"The fans never boo a bad player. I excite the fans because I want to give my best."

Diouf claims there is mutual respect between himself and manager Sam Allardyce.

"Sam brings the best out in me," Diouf said.

"I know if he thinks I am a bad boy, he will not talk to me.

"I am happy with the work I have to do for the team. I believe I am doing my job correctly.

"I am enjoying my life - I love playing football."
