Ertugral will lead Kaizer Chiefs next season |
South Africa's most popular club Kaizer Chiefs have reappointed Turkish coach Muhsin Ertugral.
He signed a three-year deal on Thursday to replace German Ernst Middendorp.
Ertugral, 47, won the South African Cup with Ajax Cape Town in May and took the unfashionable side to fourth in the league.
He was in charge at the Johannesburg-based Chiefs from 1992 to 2002 when they won the 2001 African Cup Winners' Cup title.
But he also had their worst league finish of ninth in 2002.
