Kanoute is the joint top goal scorer in Spain |
Mali's Frederic Kanoute has recovered from a knee ligament injury which threatened to keep him out of Sunday's African Nations Cup qualifier against Togo.
The 27-year-old was named in his country's 17-man squad earlier this week even though there were doubts over his fitness.
But he has arrived in Bamako for the Group Nine encounter.
The Sevilla striker, the joint top goal scorer in the Spanish Liga this season with four goals from five games, is expected to lead his country's attack against the World Cup finalists.
The match will also mark a return to the Mali side for Liverpool midfielder Momo Sissoko, who missed last month's opening match in the qualifiers for the 2008 Nations Cup finals in Ghana.
Mali played out a goalless draw in Sierra Leone on 3 September.
