Obafemi Martins scored twice in the four-team tournament |
Nigeria striker Obafemi Martins scored twice as the 10-man Inter Milan beat Porto 3-2 in a pre-season friendly in Holland.
David Pizarro got Inter's first goal in the 7th minute before Martins used his pace to grab the Italian club's second at the annual four-team tournament.
Inter finished with ten players after Brazilian Rodrigues Cesar was dismissed in the 88th minute for unsporting behaviour.
Both sides were searching for a first tournament win after Porto lost 3-1 to Manchester United in the opening match Friday while Inter drew 1-1 against Ajax Amsterdam.
After scoring two early goals, Inter was far from convincing as Porto's Brazilian pair of Jorginho and Adriano tormented the Italians' defence at will.
In the 21st minute, Jorginho had a gilt-edged chance but made a glaring miss from close range.
The Portuguese side was punished for failing to convert a host of chances when Martin scored Inter's third in the 37th minute with a powerful strike.
Adriano pulled one back for Porto with a 79th minute header before substitute Marek Cech scored Porto's last-grasp goal nine minutes later with an acrobatic shot from inside the goal area.
