LuaLua is in the final year of his contract |
DR Congo striker Lomana LuaLua says he could leave Portsmouth, after talks over a new contract broke down. The 25-year-old striker, the English Premiership club's joint leading scorer last season, enters the final year of his contract.
"It looks as if a move could be an option," LuaLua told the Daily Express newspaper.
"Maybe they want to cash in knowing I could leave for free next year.
"It is sad because I love the club and the fans but I have to think of my future."
LuaLua helped DR Congo to the quarter-finals at the last African Cup of Nations finals, losing to eventual champions Egypt.
