World Cup finalists Ghana have cancelled a friendly scheduled against Iran for 29 March. Officials of the Ghana FA said their inability to raise a full strength team for the tie is responsible for the decision.
European clubs, who employ the majority of Ghana's first-choice players, are not obliged to release players for the game, as the 29 March date is not listed on Fifa's international co-ordinated calendar.
Meanwhile, a friendly against fellow World Cup side South Korea will be played in Glasgow on 4 June, prior to their arrival in Germany for the World Cup.
Ghana are drawn in Group E, with the Czech Republic, Italy and the USA, for the month-long tournament which begins on 9 June.
