Both sides are out of the competition, Egypt's win in the other Group A game means even a victory wouldn't have been enough for Morocco.

1848: Libya are having a good spell in the last few minutes but can't carve out a clearcut chance.

1843: Yaya Toure's powerful header forces a save from Egypt goalkeeper El Hadari.

1840: Bonaventure Kalou fails to run into the box to make a strike after a cross is made from the left. Didier Drogba, who is on the bench, shouts his displeasure at Kalou's failure to react to the cross.

1839: Egypt goalkeeper El Hadari comes out to make a flying save after a dangerous cross from Emmanuel Eboue on the right flank.

1838: Mohamed Madihi has Morocco's first real shot on goal in the second-half but Luis de Augustini gets down well at the foot of the post to save well.

Egypt look like winning the group as Emad Moteab runs into the penalty area to smash the ball home after a close-range header from Hossam Hassan fails to cross the line.

1829: Morocco make another change as Mohamed Yaacoubi is replaced by Mohamed Madihi.

1826: Striker Bakary Kone comes on to reinforce the Ivorian attack, with defender Guy Demel coming off.

1821: GOAL Egypt 2-1 Ivory Coast
Mohammed Aboutrika is lurking in the penalty box and connects with a cross from Hossam Hassan. His right-footer goes past Boubacar Barry, who has barely settled in the Ivorian goal.

1819: Goalkeeper Jean-Jacque Tizie is yet to recover from his fall and Ivory Coast coach Henri Michel sends in Boubacar Barry to replace him..

1818: Libya's Nader Tarhuni crosses a ball that almost catches out the Moroccan keeper but it eventually goes behind.

1816: Libya's game against Morocco is becoming scrappy, which is not good for the Atlas Lions, who need a win to have any chance at all of advancing in this tournament.

1814: Morocco make a change with Ali Boussabon coming on for Hicham Aboucherouane.

1813: Emerse Fae tries to make a long pass from midfield to connect with Aruna Kone but an Egyptian defender cuts him off.

1810: Morocco are struggling to get control of the game and Libya are still happy to pick up the peices and try and make a quick counter-attack.

1808: Ivory Coast goalkeeper Jean-Jacque Tizie is down, after a collision with Hossam Hassan. It takes a while for him to get up.

1807: Ahmed Hassan crosses the ball into Ivory Coast's penalty area but it is headed out by Cyril Domoraud.

1805: The Ivory Coast kick off the second-half of their match with Egypt.

1801: Morocco get the second-half of their game against Libya underway.

1749: HALF-TIME Egypt 1-1 Ivory Coast
As things stand in the final Group A games this result would be good enough to send Egpyt into the last eight along with the Ivory Coast.

1748: Just one minute of added time was indicated but nearly three minutes are played.

1746: HALF-TIME Libya 0-0 Morocco
Morocco are still looking for the goal that might win them this game and will be hoping the Ivory Coast can do them a favour and beat Egypt in the other game.

1743: GOAL Egypt 1-1 Ivory Coast
Arouna Kone gets a well-deserved equaliser for the Ivory Coast as hits a shot from the edge of the 18-yard box that he curls into the righthand corner of the Egyptian net, leaving Essam El Hadari deflated.

1740: Egypt's Ahmed Hassan is given a yellow card for tackling Romaric Ndri from behind.

1740: Talal El Karkouri tries a very long range free-kick for Morocco but can't get much power into the shot and Luis de Augustini gathers the ball very easily.

1738: Romaric Ndri takes a corner for Ivory Coast but it is headed out of danger by the Egyptian defenders. Egypt coach Hassan Shehata is yelling instructions at his shaky defence.

1737: Morocco are still very much on top, but Libya's Tarek El Taib is working hard in the midfield trying to make something happen for his team.

1734: Egypt's Mohamed Shawky gets a yellow card for tripping Ivorian Romaric Ndri.

1729: Romaric Ndri outruns two Egyptian defenders and hits a shot that forces Essam El Hadari to dive to his right. The Ivorians are piling constant pressure on the Egyptian defence that leaves El Hadari worried.

1724: Hossam Hassan, Africa's most capped player with at least 165 appearances for the Pharaoh's, comes on for Egypt, after a groin strain forces Mido to bow out of the game.

1722: Ivorian striker Romaric Ndri drills home a 25-metre shot that stretches Egypt keeper Essam Al Hadari to the right.

1722: Morocco are dominating the play but are finding it hard to break down the Libyan defence.

1715: Mohamed Aboutrika's header goes narrowly wide of the Ivorian post. He is posing a serious threat to the shaky Ivorian defence.

1715: Libyan goalkeeper Luis de Agustini intercepts a cross from Marouane Chamakh towards Youssef Hadji. Seconds later Mohamed Yaacoubi hits the post from the edge of the area with keeper well beaten.

1714: Libya are defending well against Morocco and are looking to score on the break.

1711: Ivory Coast keeper Jean-Jacques Tizie runs out to make a save after Emad Moteab shakes off two Ivorian defenders and attempts a strike from close range.

1708: GOAL Egypt 1-0 Ivory Coast
Emad Moteab heads home from close range, connecting with a header back across the goal by Abdelzaher El Saqqa, after a cross from the left by Mohamed Barakat.

1706: A defensive error by Ivory Coast nearly gives Mohamed Aboutrika a chance to score but he is unable to hit the target. A lucky escape for the Ivory Coast.

1705: Libya's Nader Kara races into the are after being put through by Tarek El Taib but he puts his shot high and wide of the Morocco goal.

1704: Egypt's Ahmed 'Mido' Hossam makes a run into the Ivorian penalty area but his close-range shot is blocked by Blaise Kouassi.

1700: Both the final Group A games are underway at the African Cup of Nations. Both Morocco and Egypt are after wins that could see them join the Ivory Coast in the quarter-finals, while Libya are playing for pride.

1650: The Ivory Coast have made several changes and rested key players such as Didier Drogba, Kolo Toure and given chances to the likes of Bonaventure Kalou and Siaka Tiene.

Egypt have named a strong side as they go for the victory that will win them Group A.

1645: Libya make three changes - goalkeeper Luis de Agustini is back after suspension, defender Omar Dawood and midfielder Ahmed Saad are in too, replacing the suspended Younes Shibani and the injured Jihad Muntasir.

Morocco make one change, an attacking one, with forward Hicham Aboucherouane replacing the midfielder El Armine Erbate.
