 South Africa's Elrio Van Heerden has joined Belgian side Bruges |
South Africa midfielder Elrio Van Heerden has joined Belgian side Club Bruges from Denmark's FC Copenhagen. The 22-year-old has signed a 3 1/2-year deal with the Belgian champions and will join up with his new team mates after the African Cup of Nations.
He won his 11th cap in South Africa's 2-0 defeat to Guinea last Sunday
Van Heerden played 39 first team games for the Danish side, scoring seven goals after joining as a teenager from a football school in Port Elisabeth.
