1639: Akwa has another chance but he misreads the dummy from his team-mate and once again the ball runs wide before he can get the ball. Immediately at the other end Lomana LuaLua has a chance as he breaks into the area but his shot is high and wide.

1638: Akwa has a great chance for Angola as the ball is crossed into him in the six-yard area but he scuffs his shot and Pascal Kalemba easily gathers the ball.

Tresor Mputo is given a straight red card for blatantly kicking Angola's Kali as the defender shielded the ball out of play.

1531: Angola have a corner that beats the defence and Kali has the chance to score but sidefoots the ball wide of the goal.

1528:Flavio tries to lift the ball over the DR Congo 'keeper Pascal Kalemba but the ball sails over the bar.

1527: The DR Congo captain Lomana LuaLua breaks into the area and the Angolan goalkeeper does well and spreads himself at LuaLua's feet forcing the ball to go wide.

1525: Lomana LuaLua does some good work down the DR Congo's right-hand side but he shoots from a narrow angle and it is easily saved.

1524: Akwa does well on the left handside to hold off a DR Congo defender and gets in a cross but there is no one in the box to get on the end of it.

1522: Angola have the opening chance of the game as a superb pass finds Akwa who is clear in the box and he shoots straight at the goalkeeper.

1521: It's a scrappy opening five minutes with neither side dominating.

1517: The DR Congo get a corner and swing the ball in and Joao Ricardo comes to claim the ball but drops it luckily the Angolan defence scramble it away.
