1950: Emad Moteab should have sealed a win for Egypt when he latched onto a pass in the penalty area but his poor control ensured his miskick rolled into the hands of the Morocco 'keeper.
1948: Morocco striker Ali Bousaboun is given a yellow card after the referee feels that he simulated a fall penalty box.
1946: Morocco 'keeper Tarik El Jarmouni rushes out to make a clearance, as Egypt's Mohammed Abu Treka threatens to break loose. Five minutes of extra time are added.
1942: It's end-to-end stuff, as both sides seek the lone goal that could give them a win.
1939: Egypt's Mohammed Abdelwahab makes a cross from the left flank but Abu Treka fails to connect in the penalty box, to the visible annoyance of manager Hassan Shehata.
1935: Egypt striker Mido, who has had an ineffective game, is replaced by Emad Moteab. Mido's inability to score is a consequence of the good defensive work of Morocco captain Nourredine Naybet.
