Despite dominating play in the first half, the Atlas Lions are behind to the Elephants, as a result of careless defensive play. Television replays indicate that the foul committed on Drogba - which led to the converted penalty - was committed outside the area.

1244: An unmarked Chamakh gets a free header for Morocco in the penalty area but Tizie, who has been in good form for Ivory Coast, makes another save.

1242: Morocco comes close to scoring an equaliser - after a goalmouth melee that follows a free kick but Tizie makes a timely save.
