Nigeria captain Jay-Jay Okocha and fellow midfielder Wilson Oruma have been passed fit for Saturday's home World Cup qualifier against Gabon in Port Harcourt.

"We had suspected that Jay Jay Okocha and Wilson Oruma were nursing injuries," said team psychologist Robinson Okosun.

"But from the look of things and what I have seen of them in the last two days of training, that's not the case."

The Super Eagles could go top of Group Four if Angola fail to beat Zimbabwe in their qualifier in Harare, which is also being played on Saturday.

The unbeaten Angolans lead Nigeria by a point.

"The players know the importance of this match, so they are putting everything into it to ensure that we take the three points at stake, to avoid playing under pressure in our remaining matches," said Okosun.
