Sudan coach Abdalla Mazda has selected a 27-man squad for the World Cup qualifier against Cameroon on 27 March in Yaound�.
The match will be the second for Mazda in the qualifiers after he replaced Polish coach Wojtek Wazarek last summer.
Mazda was on the verge of leading his country to a historic win against Cameroon in September before Joseph-Desire Job's header earned a draw for the Central Africans.
Sudan hosted neighbours Ethiopia in a friendly last week, as part of their preparations for the World Cup qualifier.
The home side thrashed the Cecafa Cup winners 3-1 in Khartoum, but Mazda was cautious about his team's chances against the Indomitable Lions.
"Playing against Cameroon in Yaound�, will be tough," he admitted.
"They have got a new coach and they will always be one of the elite teams in Africa," Mazda said.
The squad was selected from club sides Al Hilal and El Merriekh, Sudan's two major clubs.
Sudan are rooted to the bottom of Group Three, which includes the Ivory Coast, Libya, Egypt and Benin.
