Defender Jean-Joel Perrier Doumbe has been given a late call-up to the Cameroon side facing Egypt in their final World Cup qualifier.
Doumbe, who plays for French Ligue One side Rennes, is to replace Benot Assou-Ekoto who made a sudden withdrawal.
Assou-Ekoto, a Lens defender, is born to a Cameroonian father and French mother but has never played for the Indomitable Lions.
Meanwhile, the squad will begin training on Tuesday for the weekend's game.
They were to begin training on Monday but the Europe-based players, who form the bulk of the squad, are yet to arrive in the country.
Fecafoot, Cameroon's football federation, are hoping for a sell-out crowd of 40,000 at the Yaounde game. Each fan who buys a ticket will be given a green t-shirt, as the authorities want fans of the Lions to appear in the team's colours on matchday.
Cameroon must defeat Egypt in order to make their fifth consecutive appearance at next year's World Cup finals.
