Boussaboun has been capped by Holland at Under-21 level |
Morocco say they are disappointment that Fifa cannot clear three players to play for them in their 2006 World Cup qualifier against Kenya on 9 February.
Mounir Hamdaoui of Tottenham Hotspurs of England and the Holland based duo of Said Boutahar who is at NEC Nijmegen and NAC Breda's Ali Boussaboun have all played for Dutch junior sides but now want to represent Morocco.
Fifa's rules on international eligibility now allow a footballer capped at junior level to represent another country as long as he possesses dual nationality and makes the request to change nationality before the age of 21.
The Fifa meeting to look into the players' case and confirm their international eligibility to play for Morocco has been scheduled to be held on 15 February.
Morocco coach Badou Zaki said : "It is an administrative matter but as much I am sorry for the players' absence we have to respect Fifa's commitments."
The three players played for the north Africans in a friendly match last month against the Spanish team Navarre. The Atlas Lions have recently been chasing Europe-based players who have dual nationality to persuade them to play for Morocco.
Meanwhile, Badou Zaki has named Oualid Regragui in the squad for the match against Kenya.
The 29-year-old has been out with injury since Morocco finished second in the last Nations Cup in Tunisia.
