Kenya's coach has said that he will not select striker Dennis Oliech for future World Cup qualifiers after absenting himself from their last game against Tunisia.
"I will have to think twice about selecting Oliech again," said a disappointed Mohammed Kheri, after losing 1-0 to the African champions in Tunis.
"He's shown he's not patriotic to his country and now appears we cannot rely on him."
The Qatar-based Oliech refused to travel to Guinea for a qualifier in June following a pay dispute with the Kenya Football Federation (KFF).
But he was accepted back into the team for the following match against Morocco, after he apologised to the KFF's management.
Kenya host Tunisia in the return match on 3 September, which will be played behind closed doors, following the death of a 15-year-old boy outside the Nairobi stadium before their game against Morocco.
The Harambee Stars final qualifying game is against Malawi in October.
Kheri is hopeful that the team, which is currently placed fourth in Group Five behind Tunisia, Morocco and Guinea would still qualify for next year's African Cup of Nations finals in Egypt.
Only the top three teams in each qualifying group will go to Egypt.
"With better preparations we will win both matches and pray that Guinea draws one of their games, which will see us through to Egypt," Kheri said.
