Enyimba are hoping to fill the National Stadium in Abuja |
At least 19 bus loads of Enyimba fans will be ferried to Abuja from Friday to support their team in Sunday's second leg of the 2004 Champions League final.
The coaches will be free of charge and are being laid on by several wealthy individuals and a number of businesses.
The move is an attempt to ensure that the 60,000-seater National Stadium is full for the match against Tunisia's Etoile du Sahel, who lead 2-1 from the first leg in Sousse.
African football's governing body Caf ordered the game to be played away from Enyimba's home ground in Aba, saying the facilities are not up to standard.
"The free coaches are an incentive for the fans who have been supporting us for so long," Enyimba's media officer Tonnex Chukwu told BBC Sport.
"However they will have to pay to get into the stadium as well as their own accommodation in Abuja."
''Buses have been stationed in Umuahia, Port Harcourt, Enugu and at the Aba stadium to convey our supporters on Saturday."
The fans have been given further incentive to travel with a popular hotel in Abuja dropping its prices from US$130 to US$38 for a room.
''It's a kind gesture from the hotel and they have also said they will provide buses for the fans to get from the hotel to the National Stadium on the day of the match," Chukwu added.
With the cheapest tickets costing around US$1, about the same price as an average league game in Nigeria, the National Stadium could be full on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Enyimba players have each been promised a plot of land each by Mallam Nasir el Rufai, the minister of Abuja, should they retain their African title.
In 2003, Enyimba became the first Nigerian team to ever win the Champions League.
