Kallon joined Inter Milan in 1996 |
Sierra Leone striker Mohamed Kallon says he has signed for AS Monaco of France.
"I signed a four-year contract this morning," the 24-year-old told BBC Sport on Tuesday.
"I'm really happy to have joined Monaco as I am now assured of first-team football, unlike at my previous club Inter, as well as Champions League football."
"That's very important for me."

Kallon, who joined Inter Milan in 1996, said the move also pleased him because his new contract is the most lucrative he has ever signed.
But he declined to mention the size of the transfer fee involved.
"I am pleased because it is the richest contract I have ever signed with a club," the Sierra Leonean added.
"I've joined the best club in France, and that is also very important to me."
Last season, Kallon spent most of his time on the Inter bench as well as serving out a six-month suspension for testing positive for the banned steroid nandrolone.
In June, the striker told BBC Sport he was keen to leave Italy for a fresh challenge.
"I've played in Italy for eight years now and I think it is now ripe for me to move away," said Kallon.
Kallon joined Inter Milan from Lebanese first division club Al-Tadamon.
When BBC Sport contacted Monaco for an official confirmation of the transfer, a spokesman declined to confirm the move but said that the 2004 Champions League finalists were 'interested' in the player.
